Caviar, the luxe-class custom iPhone-maker is always in the spotlight every year as it releases custom modified iPhones at luxurious prices. The company actually buys standard iPhones from Apple and replaces the casings with their own works using luxury materials like gold, titanium, and diamond.
What’s new this time?
This year it is offering an extremely rare variant of the iPhone 12 Pro that comes with a case made of 999.9 gold (24 Carat).
The interesting part is this phone is priced at $169,000 (roughly Rs 1.2 crores). Now if you include the additional import duties and taxes, you can expect the final price to cross above Rs. 1.5 Crore in India.
The high price is due to the fact that it has 1000gm of gold fixed to its back, which makes the phone look bulkier and heavy. Also, there are only 7 limited units of this limited edition iPhone 12 Pro.

Great luxury comes at a great price and Caviar is the epitome of high-priced smartphones. And this limited edition iPhone 12 Pro is no exception.
Excluding the externals, there are no changes to the internals of this iPhone 12 Pro with one big exception. It comes with the same A14 Bionic Chip, same OLED display, same storage variants, and battery.
Due to its gold bar design, the Caviar designers had to sacrifice the cameras.
